The Shelter S1 is the standard stocked safety glasses frame for small contractors, site managers, workshops and maintenance teams that need repeatable issue without a catalogue of near-matches.

Shelter S1 Safety Glasses
The S1 is held in clear frames, smoke frames and standard insert-ready blanks at the Halifax workshop. It is not presented as a fashion range. It is a controlled issue item with known replacement lenses, known insert fit and known reorder language.

- Dispatch

Lens 02
Smoke Outdoor
For outdoor glare, yard work, utilities visits and exposed maintenance where workers would otherwise reach for non-safety sunglasses.
Lens 03
Amber Low-Light
For low-light inspection tasks where contrast matters. Amber lenses are batched every Friday rather than held in unlimited shelf depth.
Standards and markings
Protection Follows The Supplied Marked Combination.
Shelter describes eye protection by the marked frame and lens combination supplied. The workshop does not claim protection beyond the standard shown on the product in hand, and it does not glaze third-party safety frames that have not been tested as part of the Shelter system.
This wording is deliberate. A scratched, swapped or unmarked lens is not a paperwork detail. It changes the issued equipment that the wearer is trusting on site.
If your site file needs a particular standard recorded, include that in the email order before payment approval. Shelter will confirm what can be supplied, what cannot be supplied and whether a replacement lens set is the better route than a full new pair.
Trade site boxes
Five Pairs Packed For Issue, Not Display.
Site boxes start at five pairs. Clear boxes are £145 and smoke or amber boxes are £175. Branded issue labels start at 25 pairs, useful when glasses need to be recorded by gang, van, workshop bay or induction date.
- Ask for clear, smoke or amber in the email; amber lenses are batched every Friday.
- Add spare replacement lens sets if you know the job will be abrasive or dusty.
- Keep the reorder language simple: Shelter S1, lens colour, quantity, delivery address.
- Approved trade accounts are net 14 days. Orders over £500 require a 50% deposit before assembly.
