Lead Times
Stock glasses dispatch within 2 working days when ordered before 12:00. Prescription inserts take 7-10 working days.

“Eye protection is not a perk. It is issued equipment, and it should be chosen with the same care as a harness or boot.”

How the work moves

Select, Confirm, Measure, Assemble.

The process starts with the frame. For most orders that means the stocked Shelter S1, because a controlled frame makes replacement lenses, inserts and repeat issue far less vague. The buyer then confirms the lens colour: clear for indoor and general work, smoke for glare and outdoor days, amber for low-light inspection tasks.

Where prescription use is needed, Shelter asks for a valid prescription less than two years old, pupillary distance, working distance and enough detail to judge whether the insert is safe for the job. The workshop does not guess at optical position just to keep an order moving.

Stock safety glasses are assembled, checked and dispatched within 2 working days when the order lands before 12:00. Prescription inserts take 7-10 working days from receipt of prescription, pupillary distance and payment approval.

Orders are placed by email rather than a cart. That keeps small contractors, joinery shops and maintenance teams from being forced through a procurement system when they simply need practical eye protection issued correctly.
